Max Klien
Max’s background is in private equity, where he worked at a DIFC-based firm developing financial models, analyzing companies across sectors, and preparing fundraising materials for transactions spanning industrial manufacturing, fintech, oil & gas, real estate, technology, and hospitality, among others.
He built out operations from scratch for a small in-house investment management arm responsible for hundreds of millions of dollars for ultra-high-net-worth clients, led by an investment manager who later became Jordan's Minister of Investment. He also advised institutions and endowments on investments and strategy, often with complex liquidity requirements, and worked alongside global investment banks on a $300 million bond raise in the region.
Since co-founding VISTAMENA, Max has brought that institutional experience to owners, entrepreneurs, and family offices across the Gulf. He helps decision makers cut through the noise, get investor-ready, and make data-driven strategic decisions.
Melissa Stanton
Melissa's background spans hospitality, operations, and real estate. She built her career in London with one of the world’s largest family offices, overseeing operations and strategy for a $5bn hospitality portfolio.
She managed openings for luxury hotels, coordinated asset performance, and led high-profile campaigns — including the launch of the Mondrian Hotel on London’s South Bank, one of the city’s most iconic hospitality projects. Her work required balancing owners, operators, and creative teams across multiple assets and markets, giving her deep experience in institutional-level operations and execution.
Since co-founding VISTAMENA, Melissa has focused on bringing that combination of institutional discipline and entrepreneurial grit to owners, entrepreneurs, and family offices across the Gulf. She thrives at turning ambitious ideas into businesses with structure, clarity, and room to grow.
